Ahead of its official debut in the Indian market, Jimny's ARAI-certified mileage has been revealed. The upcoming 5-door Jimny will offer a range of 16.94kmpl for the manual transmission model and 16.39kmpl for the automatic transmission model.

The 5-door Jimny gets Maruti Suzuki's K15B engine, which is coupled to either a 4-speed torque converter automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine delivers 105hp and 134Nm of peak torque. It also receives Maruti's mild-hybrid technology.

The Jimny 5-door sports Suzuki's AllGrip Pro 4WD system with a manual transfer case and low-range transmission with '2WD-high,' '4WD-high,' and '4WD-low' modes. It boasts a sturdy ladder-frame chassis, a 3-link rigid axle suspension, and an electronic traction control system that automatically brakes slipping wheels and redistributes force to other wheels. The Jimny 5-door features a 36-degree approach angle, a 24-degree break-over angle, a 50-degree departure angle, and a 210mm ground clearance.
